Welcome to the Data Communications / Networking course website. Currently, the emphasis is on the "basic" data communications course offered in most MIS programs that offer one or more datacom courses. We're interested in including a broader variety of data communications courses in the long run, but focus on this basic course at the outset of this website.

Click on Knowledge, Syllabi, Cases or Bookstore to access information on data communications courses. In each area you will find drop boxes that help you navigate the materials.

Please help this website become a valuable resource by contributing content to our database. To add an item, first select the appropriate area (knowledge, syllabi, cases, bookstore) and then click the Add Item button and fill in the fields describing your item.

We also welcome any feedback you might have about how items are categorized in each of these areas, especially if an item you wish to add doesn't fit into any of the existing categories. As the content grows, these categories can evolve. It would be good, however, to make sure that these categories are the most useful ones early on.
